The walls of this intimate and peaceful Inn echo with the history of La Paz and the Baja California Peninsula. El Angel Azul is housed in an over 140-year old registered historical building. It once served as the Federal Courthouse of the South Baja Capital. Our building has been fully restored with the guidance of the National Historic Institute of Mexico. The Inn has been given a new look after being abandoned for many years and having a lonely life as a ruin.
El Angel Azul is just steps away from the Plaza, the Cathedral, the city’s library and museums. In a short walk you can reach the “Malecon”, La Paz’s waterfront, the beach and many local restaurants or relax with a Margarita in our quiet courtyard garden.
Our cozy guestrooms and a suite surround a spacious courtyard that five the impression of an original Mexican Hacienda. The rooms are all air-conditioned.
